OSHA General Industry Course
July 21-30, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Designed for supervisors and safety staff, this course covers OSHA safety standards under 29 CFR 1910, focusing on workplace safety, worker rights and employer responsibilities. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an official OSHA Department of Labor card.

Change Management: Navigating Disruption
Sept. 18, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at LLCC-Jacksonville
The next Work Forward event, Change Management: Navigating Disruption, will focus on practical ways managers and supervisors can guide teams through change, reduce resistance and build adaptability in uncertain environments. Attendees will leave with strategies to communicate more clearly, support employees through transitions and keep work moving when conditions shift.
Organizations are encouraged to send multiple participants, especially managers, supervisors, HR staff or team leads who would benefit from a shared message and applying the ideas together. This free event includes lunch; however, registration is required by Sept. 7.
Industrial Technology
FREE training opportunity
Industrial techs have the knowledge to jump in and repair or maintain high-tech machines used in factories, warehouses, hospitals and more. Attend night classes for industrial technology at LLCC-Jacksonville for FREE! Classes for this Monday-Thursday, two-semester program start this fall, and students will have tuition, fees and books covered.*
*Funded by Jacksonville Public Schools Foundation and Sol System Grant. Students must maintain satisfactory academic standards.

Career Quest Camp - Science Camp
A hands-on camp designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration and make science fun. Participants will participate in hands-on science activities, fun experiments and demonstrations. This camp is for students in grades 6-8. Camp will be held July 13-14 (Monday-Tuesday) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at LLCC-Jacksonville, 32 N. Central Park Plaza.
